ERC Volunteer (Active General Volunteering)

ERC Volunteers will assist the ERC with:

fund-raising
public relations and publicity opportunities
contributing articles to newsletter
seeking out reciprocal weblinks on internet
advising as to interesting research or clinical trials
publicize ERC in local physician offices and hospitals
patient advocacy assistance, support networking
possibly staff ERC booths at Conferences if opportunity arises and schedule is permitting, etc.

We are looking for a minimum 1-year commitment from any ERC Volunteer. Opportunities and amount of hours vary.
 

ERC Volunteer (Inactive)

In some cases, individuals are not able to commit to volunteering on a regular basis. The ERC understands and have the following annual activities that you may wish to be contacted about when the time approaches.

ERC Anniversary Campaign (annually in March)
The activities that take place during this time are: a National Raffle, Casual Day, contacting media in volunteer's local area to put together an Endo health segment, the Yellow Ribbon Awareness Campaign, distributing yellow ribbons to friends, family, co-employees; distributing our Anniversary/Awareness Donation Tins to local businesses to collect donations, etc.

Special Press Releases
At times throughout the year, the ERC announces ground breaking news, study results, and other important time sensitive information. We need volunteers to contact media in their local area to distribute these timely press releases.

Translating
Volunteers are needed who speak and write fluently in other languages.

Other
Volunteers are needed periodically for special projects that come up throughout the year.

Time commitment for these activities depends on you.
